Possible Causes
Tripped branch circuit breaker, Loose line connections at breaker, Open internal input fuse, Failed internal auxiliary power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Work on the supply only if you are qualified. High voltage is present at the breaker and inside the charger.
- Step 1 – Check breaker: Locate the dedicated Electrify America charger breaker in the panel. If tripped, reset once. If it trips again immediately, stop and call an electrician.
- Step 2 – Verify power at charger: A qualified person should measure voltage at the charger input terminals to confirm presence of correct line voltage.
- Step 3 – Inspect internal fuse (power OFF): Open the enclosure and locate any internal fuses on the auxiliary power supply board. Replace blown fuses only with identical rated parts and investigate the cause.
- Step 4 – Check auxiliary power supply: If fuses are intact but no low‑voltage LEDs are lit on the control board, the internal auxiliary power supply module may have failed and should be replaced.
