Charger’s front LEDs or display are dim, flickering, or completely dark, but the unit still charges the vehicle.

Safety first: Turn off power before removing the front cover.

• Step 1 – App status: Use the Electrify America app to confirm that the charger is functioning even if the local display is dark.
• Step 2 – Inspect connections (power OFF): Remove the front cover and check the ribbon cable or harness between the main board and the LED/display board.
• Step 3 – Reseat connectors: Carefully reseat the display connectors to ensure good contact.
• Step 4 – Check for damage: Look for cracked LEDs, burned components, or moisture on the front panel PCB.
• Step 5 – Replace UI board: If the display remains nonfunctional, replace the front LED/display board with an Electrify America‑approved part.
