Possible Causes
Failed metering IC on control board, Loose CT (current transformer) connections, Calibration data corruption, Damaged shunt resistor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Metering circuits are tied to high‑current paths. Turn off power and verify de‑energization before inspection.
- Step 1 – Power reset: Turn OFF the breaker for 2 minutes, then ON, and see if E19 clears.
- Step 2 – Inspect CTs/shunt (power OFF): Open the enclosure and locate the current transformers or shunt resistor used for metering. Ensure all connectors are secure and no components are cracked or burned.
- Step 3 – Firmware and calibration: Use the app to check for firmware updates that may restore metering functionality. Some models allow recalibration via service tools only.
- Step 4 – Replace metering board/control board: If physical damage is present or E19 persists, replace the metering module or main control board as specified by Electrify America.
