Possible Causes
Tripped or faulty breaker, Loose line connections at charger input terminal block, Open internal input fuse, Failed power module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the main panel cover and use a qualified electrician for live measurements. Do not touch exposed bus bars.
- Step 1 – Check breaker: Verify the dedicated "Electrify Home" charger breaker is in the ON position. If tripped, reset once. If it trips again, stop and call an electrician.
- Step 2 – Test another load: If possible, temporarily connect another load to the same circuit (by an electrician) to confirm power availability.
- Step 3 – Inspect input wiring: With power OFF and cover removed, check that L1, L2, and ground are securely landed on the charger’s input terminal block.
- Step 4 – Internal fuse check: Locate any internal fuses on the power module or main control board and test/replace if blown, after identifying the cause.
- Step 5 – Module replacement: If power is present at the input but the charger remains dead, the power module or main control board is likely failed and should be replaced by a technician.
