How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the breaker before removing the front cover.
- Step 1 – Adjust brightness: If available in the "Electrify Home" settings, increase display brightness and disable any aggressive power‑saving dimming.
- Step 2 – Inspect display window: Clean the outer lens with a soft cloth. Do not use solvents that could cloud the plastic.
- Step 3 – Reseat connectors: With power OFF, reseat the ribbon cable between the display and UI board.
- Step 4 – Replace UI board: If the backlight remains dim or off, replace the user interface/display board.
