Possible Causes

Incorrect supply voltage (e.g., 120 V on a 240 V charger), Loose line or neutral connection at terminal block, Undersized wiring causing voltage drop, Faulty line voltage sensing circuit on main control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Only qualified persons should measure live voltage. Turn off the breaker before tightening any terminals.

  • Step 1 – Confirm breaker and wiring: Verify the "Electrify Home" charger is on the correct two‑pole breaker size and that both hot legs are present. The charger should not be fed from a single‑pole breaker.
  • Step 2 – Check terminal block connections: With power OFF and cover removed, inspect the line (L1, L2) and ground connections at the charger’s input terminal block. Tighten any loose screws to the specified torque.
  • Step 3 – Measure supply voltage: With power ON (if you are qualified), measure voltage between L1 and L2 at the charger. It should be within the range specified in the manual (commonly 208–240 VAC). If outside this range, contact an electrician or utility.
  • Step 4 – Look for discoloration: Any signs of heat damage at the terminal block indicate poor connections and may require replacement of the block and possibly wiring.
  • Step 5 – Board sensing fault: If supply voltage is correct but E06 persists, the main control board’s voltage sensing circuit may be defective and require replacement.
