How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the breaker before opening the enclosure. Do not operate the charger with visible water inside.
- Step 1 – Open and dry: Remove the front cover of the "Electrify Home" charger and gently dry any visible moisture with a lint‑free cloth.
- Step 2 – Inspect seals: Check the perimeter gasket, cable gland, and any conduit entries for cracks, gaps, or missing sealant.
- Step 3 – Reseal entries: Replace damaged gaskets and apply appropriate outdoor‑rated sealant around conduit or cable entries as recommended by Electrify Home.
- Step 4 – Correct mounting: Ensure the charger is mounted plumb and flat against the wall so the rear gasket seals evenly.
- Step 5 – Allow drying time: Leave the unit open (power OFF) in a dry environment for 24 hours before reassembly and testing.
