Possible Causes
Tripped upstream breaker, Blown internal fuse, Loose input wiring at terminal block, Failed internal power supply on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Always turn OFF the main breaker before opening the charger. Verify absence of voltage with a meter if you are qualified.
- Step 1 – Check breaker: Inspect the dedicated breaker feeding the Enel X charger. Reset if tripped. If it trips again immediately, stop and call an electrician.
- Step 2 – Verify supply: Have an electrician confirm that correct voltage is present at the charger input terminals.
- Step 3 – Inspect terminal block: With power OFF, open the charger and check that line, neutral (if used), and ground are securely connected and not burnt.
- Step 4 – Internal fuse: Look for an internal service fuse on or near the control board. If blown, investigate for shorts before replacing with the exact same type and rating.
- Step 5 – Control board: If supply and fuse are good but the unit remains dead, the main control board power supply is likely failed and the board should be replaced.
