Safety: Repeated overheating can damage connectors. If you notice heat or burning smell, stop using the charger.

• Step 1 – Check connector fit: Ensure the connector locks firmly into the vehicle. Excessive play can cause intermittent pilot contact.
• Step 2 – Temperature check: After a charging stop, carefully feel the connector and cable. Warm is normal; very hot or soft plastic indicates a problem.
• Step 3 – Supply stability: Ask an electrician to check for voltage dips or flicker on the circuit while charging.
• Step 4 – Firmware update: Update the charger firmware via the Enel X app to improve handling of transient faults.
• Step 5 – Replace worn parts: If the connector is loose or discolored, replace the charge cable and connector assembly.
