Possible Causes
Charging disabled in app, Active schedule preventing immediate charging, Access control (RFID) not satisfied, Pilot signal not reaching vehicle inlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: This is typically a configuration or signaling issue.
- Step 1 – Check app status: Open the Enel X app and confirm the charger is set to ‘Ready’ and not paused or disabled.
- Step 2 – Review schedules: Ensure there is no active schedule that restricts charging at the current time. Temporarily disable schedules and retry.
- Step 3 – Access control: If RFID or user authentication is enabled, present an authorized card or use the app to start a session.
- Step 4 – Connector seating: Fully insert the connector into the vehicle until it clicks. A partially inserted plug can prevent the charger from going ready.
- Step 5 – Test another EV: Try a different vehicle to rule out a car‑side issue.
