Enel X Undocumented Firmware / Logic Anomaly

Charger’s front LEDs blink in an unusual pattern with no documented error code, and charging behavior is erratic.

Possible Causes

Beta or outdated firmware, Corrupted firmware image, Internal logic fault on control board, ESD or surge event

Safety: If behavior is erratic, stop using the charger until it is stable.

Step 1 – Power cycle: Turn OFF the breaker for 5 minutes, then turn it back ON.
Step 2 – Firmware reinstall: Using the Enel X app, reinstall or update to the latest stable firmware.
Step 3 – Factory reset: Perform a factory reset and reconfigure the charger.
Resolution: If erratic behavior continues, replace the main control board and report the issue to Enel X support with logs from the app.
