Possible Causes
Jammed or broken connector lock actuator, Faulty lock position sensor, Obstruction in lock pin, Control board lock driver failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power before attempting to free any mechanical lock components.
- Step 1 – Inspect lock area: Check the connector holster or locking slot for debris, ice, or foreign objects blocking the lock pin.
- Step 2 – Manual release: If the connector is stuck, use the manual release procedure described in the Enel X manual (often a mechanical lever or key) to free it.
- Step 3 – Cycle lock: With power ON, use the app or front panel to lock/unlock the connector several times and listen for actuator movement.
- Step 4 – Internal inspection: With power OFF and cover removed, locate the lock actuator and its position sensor. Check for loose connectors or broken plastic parts.
- Resolution: Replace the connector lock actuator assembly or lock position sensor if damaged. If the actuator is good but not driven, the main control board may be at fault.
