Possible Causes
Lost communication with external load controller, Faulty CT clamps on main supply, Misconfigured DLM settings, Damaged DLM communication cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: DLM involves monitoring mains; only qualified persons should work inside the main panel.
- Step 1 – Check network: Ensure the Enel X charger and any external DLM controller are online and connected to the same network as required.
- Step 2 – App settings: In the Enel X app, verify that DLM is configured correctly (correct CT ratings, phase configuration, and controller address).
- Step 3 – Inspect CT clamps: With power ON but panel closed, visually confirm that CT clamps on the main supply are properly closed around the conductors and not loose.
- Step 4 – Communication wiring: With power OFF, check any hardwired communication cables between the charger and DLM controller for loose terminals or damage.
- Resolution: If communication cannot be restored, temporarily disable DLM in the app (if allowed) to restore basic charging, or replace the DLM controller or CT clamp set as needed.
