Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor, Disconnected sensor harness, Damaged sensor on heat sink, Faulty ADC input on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Temperature sensing protects against overheating; do not bypass sensors.
- Step 1 – Reboot: Power cycle the charger and see if E30 clears.
- Step 2 – Internal inspection: With power OFF, open the unit and locate the temperature sensor(s) attached to the power module or heat sink. Check that they are firmly attached and that their wiring is intact.
- Step 3 – Connector check: Reseat the sensor connector on the main control board.
- Resolution: Replace the temperature sensor if wiring is damaged or readings are invalid. If a new sensor does not resolve E30, the main control board may have a faulty input channel.
