Possible Causes
Weak Wi-Fi signal at charger location, Incorrect Wi-Fi password or SSID change, Firmware bug in Wi-Fi module, Failed internal Wi-Fi radio on communication board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This affects monitoring and control via app, not basic charging safety.
- Check router and internet: Confirm your home Wi-Fi network is online and other devices can connect.
- Signal strength: Move your phone to the charger location and check Wi-Fi signal. If weak, consider relocating the router or adding a Wi-Fi extender.
- Reconfigure network: In the Enphase app, go to charger settings and re-enter the Wi-Fi SSID and password. Ensure you select the correct 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band as supported.
- Power cycle charger and router: Turn OFF the charger breaker for 1 minute and reboot your router. Restore power and wait several minutes for reconnection.
- If still offline: The internal Wi-Fi module or communication board may have failed. A technician can replace the communication board or use Ethernet (if supported) as an alternative.
