Unregistered RFID card, Damaged RFID reader module, Interference from metal objects near reader, Corrupted user database on charger
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This affects access control, not electrical safety.
- Use a known-good card: Test with an RFID card or fob that is confirmed registered in the Enphase system.
- Check reader area: Remove any metal stickers, covers, or objects placed over the RFID reader zone.
- Re-enroll cards: Using the app or management portal, delete and re-add the RFID cards.
- Power cycle: Turn OFF the breaker for 1 minute, then ON, to reset the reader module.
- If still failing: The RFID reader module or communication with the control board may be defective and require replacement.
