Possible Causes
Stuck contactor feedback indicating closed when open, Failed contactor contacts, Faulty internal current sensor, Vehicle refusing to draw current due to its own fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Even if no current is flowing, treat all wiring as live when energized.
- Verify with another EV: If possible, connect a different vehicle to see whether it charges correctly.
- Check app readings: In the EO app, look at real‑time current and power values. Zero or near‑zero readings indicate no actual charging.
- Listen for contactor: At the start of a session, confirm that the contactor clicks. No click may indicate a failed coil or driver.
- Inspect contactor and wiring: With power off, check the contactor and output wiring for loose connections or visible damage.
- Replace contactor or PCB: If the contactor is not closing or its contacts are open‑circuit, replace it. If feedback or current sensing is incorrect, the PCB may also require replacement.
