Possible Causes
Tripped upstream breaker or RCD, Blown internal fuse on EO PCB, Loose line or neutral connection at input terminals, Failed internal power supply on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Before opening the charger, isolate the circuit at the consumer unit and verify it is de‑energized.
- Check consumer unit: Inspect the breaker and any RCD/RCBO feeding the EO charger. Reset once if tripped. If it trips again immediately, do not force it on; investigate further.
- Verify supply at charger: A qualified person should measure voltage at the EO input terminals to confirm presence of supply.
- Inspect internal fuse: With power off, locate any internal fuses on the main PCB or power entry module. Replace only with the same type and rating if blown, and investigate why it failed.
- Check input terminations: Tighten line, neutral, and earth terminals and look for signs of overheating.
- PCB replacement: If supply is present and fuses are intact but the charger remains dead, the internal power supply on the PCB is likely faulty and the board should be replaced.
