Possible Causes

Improperly tightened cable glands, Damaged enclosure gasket, Incorrect mounting orientation, Cracked enclosure or conduit entry

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Moisture inside electrical equipment is hazardous. Isolate power immediately before opening the enclosure.

  • Dry the interior: Carefully dry all internal surfaces and components with a lint‑free cloth. Do not use heat guns directly on plastic parts or PCBs.
  • Inspect seals and glands: Check that all cable glands are tightened to compress their seals and that the main enclosure gasket is intact and correctly seated.
  • Correct mounting: Ensure the charger is mounted vertically as specified by EO, with any drain features at the bottom.
  • Replace damaged parts: Replace cracked glands, damaged gaskets, or compromised enclosures. If corrosion is present on terminals or PCB, those components may also need replacement.
  • Re‑test insulation: After drying and repair, have an electrician perform insulation resistance tests before restoring full operation.
