Possible Causes
Missing or high‑resistance earth connection at EVBox, Loose earth terminal in charger, Corroded earth bonding conductor, Faulty PE monitoring circuit on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Critical safety: A PE fault can expose users to electric shock. Do not use the charger until the earth connection is verified and the error is resolved.
- Check supply earth (electrician only): Have a qualified electrician verify continuity and impedance of the protective earth from the main panel to the EVBox earth terminal.
- Inspect earth terminal: With power off, open the EVBox and confirm that the green/yellow earth conductor is securely clamped to the earth terminal and that the terminal is tight to the chassis.
- Look for corrosion: In outdoor installations, inspect for rust or corrosion around the mounting points and earth connections. Clean and re‑terminate as needed.
- Test after correction: Restore power and attempt a short charge. If E010 persists with a verified good earth, the PE monitoring circuit on the main board may be defective.
- Do not bypass earth monitoring: Replace the main control board or PE monitoring module rather than disabling safety features.
