Possible Causes
Interrupted firmware update, Power loss during configuration write, Incompatible firmware version, Internal memory failure on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Do not repeatedly power cycle during firmware updates; this can worsen corruption.
- Check EVBox app/portal: See if a pending firmware update is indicated. If so, follow the official procedure to retry the update.
- Stable power: Ensure the charger has a stable power supply during any update (avoid switching off the breaker).
- Soft reset: Use the app or internal reset button (if provided) to perform a soft reset of the controller.
- Factory reset (if available): Perform a factory reset via the installer interface, then re‑commission the charger.
- If E014 persists: The flash memory or microcontroller on the main board may be damaged. Replace the main control board and load the correct firmware via EVBox tools.
