How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: A faulty temperature sensor can prevent proper thermal protection. Do not ignore repeated E016 events.
- Power off: Switch off the breaker before opening the unit.
- Locate sensor: Open the EVBox and locate the temperature sensor(s) attached to heatsinks or power modules. Check that the sensor is firmly attached and the cable is not pinched or broken.
- Check connector: Ensure the sensor plug is fully seated on the main board header.
- Replace sensor: If the sensor body is cracked or the cable damaged, replace it with the exact EVBox‑specified part.
- If E016 continues after sensor replacement: The main board's sensor input circuit may be defective and the board should be replaced.
