Possible Causes

Tripped or faulty breaker feeding EVgo charger, Loose line connections at panel or charger, Blown internal fuse on EVgo control board, Failed auxiliary power supply

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the main breaker before removing panel covers. Only qualified persons should work inside electrical panels.

  • Check breaker: Locate the dedicated EVgo charger breaker. If tripped, switch it fully OFF, then ON. If it trips again immediately, leave it OFF and call an electrician.
  • Verify outlet (if plug‑in model): For plug‑in EVgo units, test the receptacle with another 240 V appliance or a multimeter to confirm power is present.
  • Inspect charger connections: With power OFF, remove the EVgo front cover (if user‑serviceable) and check that line and ground wires are firmly attached to the terminal block.
  • Internal fuse check (technician): A technician can test and replace any internal low‑voltage fuses and verify the auxiliary power supply output.

If the charger remains dead after confirming supply power, contact an EVgo‑authorized technician to diagnose and replace the auxiliary power supply or main control board.
