Possible Causes

Internet outage at site, DNS or router configuration issues, EVgo backend service unreachable, Faulty LTE or Ethernet module (if equipped)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: This is a connectivity issue; charging may still function locally. No high‑voltage work is required.

  • Check internet: Verify that other devices on the same network have internet access.
  • Restart network equipment: Power‑cycle the modem and router. Wait until internet is restored, then power‑cycle the EVgo charger.
  • Check cabling (Ethernet): If using wired Ethernet, ensure the cable is firmly seated at both ends and not damaged.
  • App vs. local control: Try starting a charge directly at the charger. If local control works, E13 is likely a remote connectivity issue.

If E13 persists while your internet is stable, contact EVgo support to verify backend status. A technician may need to replace the LTE/Ethernet communication module.
