Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No high‑voltage work is required for firmware issues, but do not repeatedly power‑cycle during an update.
- Wait and observe: If E14 appears immediately after an update, wait 10–15 minutes to ensure the update process has fully completed.
- Power-cycle: Turn OFF the breaker for 2 minutes, then ON. See if the charger boots normally.
- Use EVgo app or service tool: If available, attempt a firmware recovery or re‑apply the latest approved firmware following EVgo’s instructions.
If E14 persists, the main control board’s firmware storage may be corrupted. An EVgo‑authorized technician may need to reflash or replace the control board.
