Touch buttons or capacitive keys on the charger front panel do not respond reliably

Safety first: Do not use sharp objects on the touch surface. Turn OFF power before removing any covers.

• Clean surface: Wipe the EVgo front panel with a soft, dry cloth to remove moisture, oils, or dirt.
• Avoid gloves: Some capacitive panels do not respond well to thick gloves. Try bare fingers.
• Power reset: Turn OFF the breaker for 2 minutes, then ON.
• Use app as workaround: Control charging via the EVgo app if the physical buttons are unreliable.

If the issue persists, the front interface board or touch controller may need replacement by an EVgo‑authorized technician.
