• Check settings: In the EVgo app or installer menu, verify the maximum current setting and adjust if safe and allowed by the circuit.
• Temperature check: If the charger is hot, allow it to cool and improve ventilation. Thermal derating will reduce current to protect components.
• Disable load management: Temporarily turn off any smart load sharing or demand response features to see if current increases.

If output remains low despite correct settings and normal temperature, the EVgo current sensor or control board may be faulty and require service.
