Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker and verify no voltage is present before opening the charger. Only qualified persons should work inside the unit.
- 1. Confirm supply power: Check that the correct breaker is ON and not tripped. Reset if necessary. Verify voltage at the panel with a multimeter.
- 2. Inspect input wiring: With power OFF, remove the EvoCharge cover and check that line and ground conductors are securely attached to the input terminal block.
- 3. Check internal fuses: Locate any internal fuses on the control or power board. Test continuity with a multimeter. Replace blown fuses only with the same type and rating, and investigate why they blew.
- 4. Test low-voltage supply: If qualified, restore power and measure the low-voltage outputs (e.g., 5 V, 12 V) from the internal power supply module. If absent, the module or control board is likely defective.
- 5. Replace power supply/control board: If no low-voltage power is present and fuses are good, replace the internal power supply module or entire control board per EvoCharge service instructions.
Do not bypass fuses or operate the unit with missing covers; this can create shock and fire hazards.
