E09 displayed; charger does not respond to vehicle connection or start command.

Safety first: Turn OFF power before opening the unit. Low-voltage circuits are present near high-voltage components.

• 1. Full power reset: Turn OFF the breaker for at least 5 minutes to fully discharge internal capacitors. Turn power back ON and observe if E09 clears.
• 2. Inspect low-voltage wiring: With power OFF, remove the cover and locate ribbon cables and small harnesses between the display, control board, and power board. Reseat each connector carefully.
• 3. Check for visible damage: Look for burned components, bulging capacitors, or cracked solder joints on the EvoCharge control board.
• 4. Firmware recovery (if supported): Some EvoCharge models allow firmware reloading via USB or network. Follow EvoCharge documentation to attempt a firmware update or recovery.
• 5. Replace control board: If E09 persists and wiring is intact, the main control board assembly is likely defective and must be replaced with an OEM EvoCharge board.

Because this fault is internal to the electronics, most repairs beyond connector reseating should be performed by an authorized service provider.
