Possible Causes
Failed Wi-Fi or Ethernet module, Loose network module connector, Incorrect network configuration, Damaged antenna or Ethernet port
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Network troubleshooting can be done with power ON, but do not open the unit while energized unless you are qualified.
- 1. Check basic connectivity: Verify your router is online and other devices can access the network. For Ethernet-connected EvoCharge units, confirm the cable is firmly plugged in at both ends.
- 2. Reboot the charger: Turn OFF the breaker for 1–2 minutes, then turn it back ON. Many transient network faults clear after a reboot.
- 3. Reconfigure network settings: Using the EvoCharge app or web interface (if available), re-enter Wi-Fi credentials or IP settings. Ensure the correct SSID and password are used.
- 4. Inspect network module (power OFF): If accessible, turn OFF power, open the unit, and locate the Wi-Fi/Ethernet daughterboard. Reseat its connector and check for physical damage or corrosion.
- 5. Replace network module: If E10 persists and charging works otherwise, the network module may be defective. Replace it with the correct EvoCharge network module part.
Network faults do not usually affect basic charging but will disable scheduling, monitoring, and load management features.
