RFID Read Failure
RFID cards or fobs are not recognized; charger stays locked even with known-good tags.

Possible Causes
Damaged RFID antenna behind front panel, Metal obstruction near reader, Misconfigured access control list, Failed RFID reader PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Access control troubleshooting can be done with power ON; open the unit only with power OFF.
- 1. Test multiple tags: Try several RFID cards/fobs that are known to be enrolled. If none work, suspect the reader.
- 2. Remove obstructions: Ensure no metal objects or covers are placed directly over the RFID reader area on the front panel.
- 3. Check configuration: Use the EvoCharge management interface to confirm that RFID mode is enabled and that your tags are still listed.
- 4. Inspect reader and antenna (power OFF): Open the unit and verify that the RFID antenna and reader PCB are securely mounted and connected.
- 5. Replace RFID module: If wiring and configuration are correct but tags are not read, replace the RFID reader module.
As a temporary workaround, you may be able to switch the charger to open-access mode if supported.
