Possible Causes

Weak Wi-Fi signal at charger location, Incorrect network credentials, Failed internal Wi-Fi module, Router blocking device

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Network troubleshooting does not require opening the unit; keep covers closed unless power is OFF.

  • 1. Check signal strength: Use a smartphone near the EvoCharge unit to verify Wi-Fi signal quality. If weak, move the router or add a Wi-Fi extender.
  • 2. Re-enter credentials: Using the EvoCharge app or setup mode, reconfigure Wi-Fi SSID and password carefully.
  • 3. Router settings: Ensure the router is not blocking new devices (MAC filtering) and that the EvoCharge is on a compatible frequency band (2.4 GHz vs 5 GHz, per manual).
  • 4. Reboot router and charger: Power-cycle both the home router and the EvoCharge unit.
  • 5. Replace Wi-Fi module: If all network settings are correct and other devices work fine, the internal Wi-Fi module may be defective and require replacement.

Until connectivity is restored, use the charger in manual mode without app-based scheduling or monitoring.
