Possible Causes
Loose low-voltage harness between logic and power boards, Failed communication IC on main control board, Corrupted firmware, Power supply instability to logic section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker before opening the charger enclosure.
- Power-cycle: Turn OFF the breaker for at least 5 minutes, then turn it back ON. Many transient communication faults clear with a full power reset.
- Check for moisture or condensation: If the charger is outdoors, look for signs of water ingress around seals and cable entries. Do not operate the unit if water is present inside.
- Technician inspection: A technician should open the unit and verify that all low-voltage harnesses between the logic board and power board are fully seated and undamaged.
- Firmware update: If supported, use the FLO app or service tool to check for and apply firmware updates, following FLO’s instructions.
- If E11 persists: The main control board (or separate logic board, depending on model) is likely defective and must be replaced.
