Possible Causes
Jammed mechanical lock in holster, Failed lock actuator motor, Broken lock position sensor, Obstruction in holster channel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power before attempting to free a stuck connector. Do not force the handle with excessive strength.
- Inspect holster: Look for debris, ice, or foreign objects in the holster slot that could block the lock pin.
- Gently work the handle: With power OFF, gently wiggle the handle while pressing any release button to see if the lock disengages.
- Defrost if frozen: In cold climates, ice can jam the lock. Use warm (not boiling) air from a hair dryer at a safe distance to melt ice around the holster.
- Power-cycle: Restore power and attempt to lock/unlock via the FLO app or button to see if the actuator responds.
- If E15 persists: A technician should open the holster assembly, inspect the lock actuator motor and lock position sensor, and replace the connector lock assembly if damaged.
