Garo
Reduced Output Current / Derating
Charger reports much lower charging current than configured or expected; charging is very slow.

Possible Causes
Dynamic load management limiting current due to house load, Temperature‑based derating from internal sensor, Incorrect maximum current setting, Undersized supply cable or breaker forcing lower configuration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not increase current beyond what wiring and breaker can safely handle.
- Check settings: In the installer menu or app, verify the maximum current limit and any eco or reduced‑current modes.
- Review load management: If dynamic load management is enabled, check current house load and configured main fuse size; the charger may be correctly limiting current.
- Monitor temperature: If the charger is hot, internal derating may be active. Improve ventilation or reduce ambient temperature.
- Consult electrician: Confirm that the supply cable and breaker allow the desired current; if not, an upgrade may be required.
