Possible Causes
Failed LED elements, Loose display connector, Damage from moisture or impact, Faulty LED driver on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This is mainly a usability issue; ensure you can still read status via the app.
- Check via app: Confirm that all status information is available in the go-e app as a workaround.
- Inspect connections: With power off, open the housing and check the ribbon cable or connector between the control board and LED/display board.
- Look for damage: Inspect the LED board for corrosion or cracks. Replace the LED/display board if damaged.
- Replace control board if driver faulty: If LEDs are intact but not driven correctly, the LED driver on the control board may be defective and require board replacement.
