Possible Causes

Disconnected NTC sensor on power board, Damaged sensor wiring harness, Shorted or open-circuit NTC thermistor, Faulty ADC input on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Ensure power is off before touching internal components.

  • Locate temperature sensor: Identify the NTC thermistor(s) on the power board or attached to heat sinks. Check that the sensor is physically intact and properly attached.
  • Check connector: Follow the sensor wires to the control or power board connector. Reseat the connector and inspect for broken conductors.
  • Measure resistance: With power off and sensor disconnected, measure the NTC resistance at room temperature and compare with the specification (commonly 10 kΩ at 25°C). Replace the sensor if readings are open, shorted, or far out of range.
  • Inspect PCB traces: Look for cracked solder joints or burnt tracks around the sensor input. Reflow solder if necessary or replace the board.
  • Test operation: After repair, reassemble, restore power, and monitor internal temperature via the app during a short charge.
