Possible Causes

Wi‑Fi module failure, Ethernet link down (if equipped), Corrupted network configuration, Defective communication board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Note: Some GoCable models require network connectivity for certain managed charging modes. In basic mode, E12 may be bypassable via settings.

  • Check router and internet: Ensure your home network is online. Reboot the router if necessary.
  • Verify Wi‑Fi signal strength: If the charger is far from the router, consider moving the router, adding a repeater, or using Ethernet if supported.
  • Reconfigure network: Use the GoCable app or web interface to forget and re‑add the Wi‑Fi network. Enter the correct SSID and password.
  • Power cycle the charger: Turn off the breaker for 1 minute, then restore power and see if E12 clears.
  • Inspect communication board: With power OFF, open the unit and ensure the Wi‑Fi/communication module is firmly seated on its header.
  • Persistent E12: Replace the Wi‑Fi / communication module. If still unresolved, the main control board may have a network interface fault.
