How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety warning: Water inside an energized charger is extremely dangerous. Shut off power immediately.
- Disconnect power: Turn off the EVSE breaker and lock it out if possible.
- Open and dry: Carefully open the GoCable housing and inspect for standing water, corrosion, or residue. Gently dry with absorbent cloths and allow to air dry thoroughly.
- Inspect seals: Check the door gasket, cable glands, and any knockouts for gaps or damage. Replace any compromised enclosure gasket or cable gland.
- Check mounting: Ensure the unit is mounted vertically and that water cannot run down cables into the enclosure.
- Assess damage: If corrosion is present on the control board or power components, replace the affected main control board or power module.
