Possible Causes

Line and neutral miswired on input, Single‑pole breaker used instead of two‑pole, Shared neutral on multi‑wire branch circuit, Internal line sensing circuit fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Only a qualified electrician should modify branch circuit wiring.

  • Confirm breaker configuration: Verify that the Grizzl‑E is on a dedicated 2‑pole breaker with common trip, not on two separate single‑pole breakers.
  • Check conductor placement: At the Grizzl‑E terminal block, ensure that L1 and L2 are connected to the two hot legs and that no neutral is connected unless specified by the installation manual.
  • Measure voltages: With a meter, verify 240 V between L1 and L2 and approximately 120 V from each leg to ground (in North America).
  • Correct any miswiring: If line/neutral are reversed or a neutral is incorrectly used, rewire according to the Grizzl‑E installation guide.
  • If wiring is correct: A persistent E11 may indicate a fault in the line sensing circuit on the main control board.
