Possible Causes
Loose wall mounting hardware, Loose internal backplate or contactor screws, Cable strain pulling on enclosure, Resonance with wall structure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power before tightening any hardware.
- Check wall mount: Verify that all mounting screws are tight and anchored into solid structure (studs or masonry).
- Inspect internal hardware: With cover removed, tighten screws securing the backplate, contactor, and terminal block.
- Relieve cable strain: Ensure the EV cable is supported and not pulling downward excessively on the enclosure.
- Test: After reassembly, start a charge session and listen for improvement. Persistent severe vibration may indicate a failing contactor that should be replaced.
