Grizzl‑E makes loud buzzing or chattering noises during charging

Safety: Turn OFF power before touching or tightening internal components.

• Confirm source: Remove the cover (with power OFF) and identify the contactor as the noise source during a brief test (re‑energize with cover temporarily in place if safe).
• Tighten mounting: Ensure the contactor is firmly mounted to the backplate and that the backplate is secure to the enclosure.
• Check supply voltage: Measure line voltage under load; low voltage can cause coil hum and should be corrected at the supply.
• Replace if needed: If the contactor continues to buzz loudly despite correct voltage and tight mounting, replace the contactor assembly.
