How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Damaged EVSE cables are a serious shock and fire hazard. Do not attempt to tape over or repair the cable yourself.
- Immediately stop using: Unplug from mains and vehicle.
- Do not flex the damaged area: Avoid further stressing the cable, which could expose live conductors.
- Inspect extent of damage: If any inner conductors are visible or the damage is near the connector or charger housing, the entire cable assembly must be replaced.
- Arrange replacement: Contact a service center to replace the J+ Booster output cable assembly with an approved part.
