How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Allow the charger to cool before handling. Do not cover or enclose the unit while in use.

Power off and cool down: Unplug the charger and let it sit for at least 30 minutes in a cool, shaded area.
Check installation location: Ensure the J+ Booster is not installed in a confined space without airflow (e.g., small cabinet) and is not exposed to direct sunlight or other heat sources.
Inspect ventilation: Clean any dust, cobwebs, or debris from vents using a dry cloth or compressed air. Do not insert objects into the vents.
Listen for fan operation: During a new charging attempt, listen for the internal cooling fan (if your model has one). If the fan does not run and E08 recurs, the fan or its control circuit may have failed.
Reduce charging current: If adjustable, set a lower current to reduce heat generation.
Persistent E08: Indicates a likely fault in the thermal sensor or cooling system; contact a service technician for internal inspection.

Display shows E08 during charging; charger stops and may feel warm to the touch.

Possible Causes
