How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Moisture inside an EV charger is dangerous. Do not operate the unit until it is completely dry and inspected.
- Immediately disconnect: Unplug from mains and vehicle.
- Drying: Move the charger to a dry, warm, well-ventilated area. Allow at least 48 hours for drying. Do not use direct heat sources like heaters or hair dryers.
- Inspect seals and glands: Check around cable entries and housing joints for visible gaps or cracks.
- Do not open the housing: Opening may compromise remaining seals. Internal inspection should be done by a service technician.
- After drying, if any erratic behavior or errors remain: Internal corrosion may have occurred; professional servicing is required.
