Possible Causes
Tripped upstream breaker or RCD, Blown internal fuse in Jaguar wallbox, Loose supply wiring at terminal block, Failed internal power supply module on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Work on supply circuits only if you are qualified. Always verify absence of voltage before touching conductors.
- Step 1 – Check upstream protection: Verify that the dedicated breaker and any RCD/RCBO feeding the Jaguar charger are in the ON position and have not tripped.
- Step 2 – Test outlet voltage: Using a multimeter, confirm that the correct voltage is present at the charger’s supply terminals.
- Step 3 – Inspect internal fuse: With power OFF, open the charger and locate any internal fuses on the control PCB or power entry. Replace only with the same type and rating if blown.
- Step 4 – Check terminal tightness: Ensure line, neutral, and earth conductors are firmly clamped in the terminal block.
- Step 5 – Power supply module: If supply is present and fuses are intact but the unit remains dead, the low-voltage power supply on the Jaguar control PCB is likely faulty and the PCB should be replaced by a technician.
