Charger’s front cover or housing is cracked, loose, or rattling, but the unit still operates.

Safety first: A damaged enclosure can expose live parts or allow water ingress. Isolate power before touching damaged areas.

• Step 1 – Inspect damage: Check whether any internal components or wiring are visible through cracks or gaps. If so, do not use the charger.
• Step 2 – Tighten mounting: With power OFF, tighten all mounting screws and internal frame fasteners to reduce rattling.
• Step 3 – Replace housing parts: Order and fit Jaguar-approved replacement front cover or housing sections to restore IP rating.
• Step 4 – Check cable strain relief: Ensure the tethered cable gland or strain relief is intact and firmly gripping the cable.
