Possible Causes
Incorrect time or timezone on Jaguar wallbox, Conflicting schedules between vehicle and charger, Outdated firmware with scheduling bug, Internal real-time clock failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: This is a control issue only; no internal access is usually required.
- Step 1 – Check time settings: In the Jaguar app, verify that the charger’s time, date, and timezone are correct.
- Step 2 – Simplify schedules: Temporarily disable vehicle-side schedules and use only the charger’s schedule (or vice versa) to avoid conflicts.
- Step 3 – Firmware update: Update the charger firmware to the latest version to fix known scheduling issues.
- Step 4 – Test manual start: Confirm that manual charging works reliably; if not, the issue may be more fundamental (pilot or contactor).
- Step 5 – RTC check: If the time drifts significantly after power loss, the internal real-time clock or backup battery may be faulty and require PCB service.
