Possible Causes
Disconnected or reversed CT clamp on main supply, Damaged CT cable, Incorrect CT configuration in Jaguar wallbox settings, Faulty CT input on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: CTs are usually installed in the main panel; only qualified persons should access them.
- Step 1 – Check configuration: In the Jaguar wallbox app or installer menu, verify that load management is enabled only if a CT is installed, and that the CT rating matches the hardware.
- Step 2 – Inspect CT clamp: With power OFF where possible, check that the CT clamp is securely closed around the correct conductor (usually the main live feed) and oriented as per the arrow marking.
- Step 3 – Check CT cable: Follow the CT cable from the clamp to the Jaguar wallbox. Look for cuts, pinches, or loose terminations at the CT input terminals.
- Step 4 – Reseat connectors: Reseat any plug-in CT connectors on the PCB.
- Step 5 – Replace CT: If wiring is intact but E13 persists, replace the CT with a Jaguar-approved sensor. If still faulty, the CT input on the PCB may be defective.
