Possible Causes
RFID reader misaligned behind front panel, Damaged RFID antenna, Corrupted authorized card list in memory, Electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Access control faults do not usually affect electrical safety, but do not open the charger while energized.
- Step 1 – Test multiple cards: Try several authorized cards or tags to rule out a single faulty card.
- Step 2 – Re-authorize cards: Use the Jaguar app or installer interface to clear and re-add authorized RFID cards.
- Step 3 – Reduce interference: Move any strong RF sources (e.g., Wi‑Fi routers, cordless phone bases) away from the charger front.
- Step 4 – Inspect reader alignment: With power OFF, open the front cover and ensure the RFID reader board is correctly positioned behind the marked area.
- Step 5 – Replace reader: If cards are still not recognized, replace the Jaguar RFID reader assembly.
